Board-certified in cardiovascular disease, adult echocardiography and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Khan was an honors graduate and earned his medical degree from Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where he worked as an assistant professor of medicine and stayed on to complete a fellowship in cardiology. In addition to English, he speaks Hindi and Urdu. Dr. Khan has a comprehensive approach to care that focuses not only on treating patients with established cardiovascular disease, but also taking proactive steps in patients who are at risk. When he is not working, Dr. Khan enjoys spending time with his family, hiking and traveling.
