Vascular surgery specializes in the arteries and veins that carry blood throughout your body. At Tanner, our vascular surgeons offer screenings, testing and treatment to help you overcome vascular conditions and resume an active life.

Your arteries carry oxygen-rich blood throughout your body. Your veins transport that blood back to your heart and lungs to be resupplied with oxygen. Without oxygen-rich blood, the tissues throughout your body begin to die.

Treating vascular conditions

Tanner Vascular Surgery uses medical therapies, minimally invasive catheter procedures and surgical reconstruction to keep your blood moving properly. Effective, clinically based treatment can significantly improve your quality of life. Treatment can improve mobility, reduce pain, help wounds heal and restore you to the activities you love.

Many vascular conditions can be treated in the office or with medical therapy.

If surgery is necessary, we offer minimally invasive procedures at the state-of-the-art surgery centers at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton and Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica.
