What is Tanner MyChart and why should I use it?
Tanner MyChart is a secure online tool that brings your care into one place. You can schedule appointments, view results, message your care team, track medications and review visit information from any device anytime.

How do I create a Tanner MyChart account?
You can sign up online in a few minutes using your activation code from your provider or by verifying your identity through secure prompts. Once you activate your account you have 24/7 access to your health information.

What do I need to use Tanner MyChart?
All you need is a computer or mobile device with internet access. You can use a browser like Chrome, Edge or Safari, or download the free MyChart mobile app.

Logging In and Security

I forgot my password. What should I do?
Use the Forgot Username or Forgot Password link on the login screen and follow the prompts to reset your login. If you need additional help, contact our MyChart support team.

How is MyChart secure?
MyChart protects your information with secure activation codes, personal usernames and passwords. You can also use face ID or fingerprint login and enable two step verification for added security.

Where is my data stored?
Your information stays with your healthcare organization and comes directly from your electronic medical record. Epic, the software vendor, does not store your data and cannot make changes to your record.

Managing Your Care

How can I message my provider?
Secure messaging lets you reach your care team without calling the office. It's a convenient way to get answers about medications, symptoms or follow up instructions between appointments.

When will I get a reply to a MyChart message?
Most messages receive a response within 1 to 3 business days. If you have an urgent health concern, call your primary care physician or dial 911.

How do I manage my prescription refills?
MyChart reminds you when refills are due and allows you to request them instantly online so you don't run out of medication.

Can I schedule scans and imaging appointments through MyChart?
Many scans, including diagnostic imaging, can be scheduled directly in MyChart. You can compare locations and appointment times and choose what works best for you.

What should I do if information in MyChart is incorrect?
MyChart reflects the information stored in your medical record. If something looks incorrect, speak with your provider or contact the medical records department for updates.

Caring for Loved Ones

Can I view or manage a family member's medical record?
Yes. With permission, you can receive proxy access to view and manage the care of children or other loved ones. This can help with appointments, medications and follow up care.

Can I link multiple family members' accounts in one place?
Families can connect accounts so several dependents' care can be managed from a single login.

Managing Multiple MyChart Accounts

I have more than one MyChart account. Can I link them?
Yes. Many organizations support a feature called Happy Together, which allows you to link accounts so your information appears in one view.

Why can't I delete my MyChart account?
MyChart is only a window into your legal medical record. Medical records must be stored by healthcare organizations and cannot be deleted. You may deactivate your MyChart account if you no longer wish to use it.

Additional Help

What if I cannot find my healthcare organization in MyChart?
Only organizations that use Epic software are listed in MyChart. If yours does not appear, they may offer a different patient portal. Contact your provider directly to learn how to access your medical record.
